Where the pieces come from

Each piece is made by an independent maker. The sizes, entrances, materials and heat advice on its page come from the maker, and the page says so where the maker gives none.

How you pay

Checkout runs on Shopify, which takes cards, Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Nocturne Habitat never sees your card number.

Delivery

Each order is packed by our partner warehouse overseas and sent by tracked air mail, and we email a tracking number when the parcel leaves. It arrives in about 2 to 4 weeks; pieces made to order take about a week longer. Every product page shows the dates for an order placed today. Shipping is free on orders of $89 or more.

If something goes wrong

If a piece arrives damaged or wrong, email us within 14 days of delivery with a photo of the piece and the box. We replace it or refund it, whichever you prefer, and you send nothing back. A parcel that has not arrived 40 days after it shipped is sent again or refunded. You can cancel free of charge until your order is packed. Because each order is packed for you and shipped from overseas, we cannot take returns for a change of mind. The full terms are on the help page.
